Kopie von Plutâo And His 4 Fates

A story that maybe helps to understand why we don't want to convey the dogs (anymore). A farmer kept two dogs chained up on his farm, emaciated, left alone. We then brought both dogs (Plutâo and Piralho) to us. Piralho was "only" emaciated and a little sick, Plutâo also had a bad wound on his leg which was already infected by maggots.

Back then, in the house in which the first dogs were fed by us, we were able to nurse Plutâo and Piralho back up with a lot of love and also heal the injured leg. At that time we weren't against teaching our dogs, but that should change with Plutâo's story. Plutâo was referred to a man who lived in the city. Not only are the street dogs running freely in the city, Plutâo was also free and could run all over the city. The city and the busy streets are dangerous for dogs in Brazil, and you can often see dogs running after cars and motorcycles, trying to catch the tires with their teeth.

Plutâo, Giroflex and Ana Rita

One day, Plutâo was hit by a car and his leg was rolled over. He was injured, but the man who adopted him from us did not want to have him treated and did not want to keep Pluto anymore because of his injuries. So it came about that we took Plutâo back to us and cared for him independently as best as possible until he regained his strength and his leg was healed. He kept a walking error in his left hind leg, but it was not critical. When my friend came home from work one day and Plutâo saw her from across the street, he happily wanted to switch to her side of the street and was run over by the car for the second time, and this time more violently. The driver didn't even stop, which unfortunately often happens in Brazil and all over the world. This time Plutâo's leg was broken, his back was also fractured. The vet said that he had little or no chance and wanted to put him to sleep. Despite the vet's prognoses, we took him back with us and once again looked after him with lots of love until he recovered (as far as possible).

Plutâo, Diesel and Giroflex

Today Plutâo is a cheerful dog, whose left hind leg is stiff and horizontal to the rear. Nevertheless, he can run and run, be happy and follow me when I build a house in the dog yard and get supplies. He is then always by my side and is happy about any extra affection when all the other dogs are already locked in yards or buildings for the night's rest.
