Next Trip To Shelter

It's been silent on my blog for the last few days because the upcoming trip to the kennel had to be prepared, with planning and excitement alternating every minute. I will be in Brazil this March and April to do what we are able to do. Some things are going differently than originally planned, for several reasons, which I will open as soon as possible. The excitement before every trip to Brazil is enormous, and I can hardly find words to fill the blog. Even on site it will not be possible to report me via the blog or to be available in the chat. But I'll do my best to keep you posted.

The dog in the picture above was put in front of our door 3 days ago. The poor soul most likely has a broken spine. He lies in a hunched position all the time, he can eat, but he can't do much more. There are actually people who put this dog in a car, a dog that obviously needs medical attention, and left him outside the door without saying a word. This dog could not walk to us on its own. And we are not able to get him medical care either. We ourselves have long been in a situation where we urgently need help to provide our dogs with food on a daily basis. Due to our limited resources, we are currently not even able to offer any medically necessary care to our dogs, which have been on the farm for months/years. :-( What would you do?

(Belinha)

We are currently sitting in the dark, looking into Belinha's eyes, humbled by the current situation around the world, which is not only bringing us more and more to our knees, we are at a loss and our courage is fading a little more every day.

Can we do it all?

Can we continue to feed our dogs?

Build a new and safe home for them?

Can we manage to take care of ourselves as quickly as possible?

We have more questions than possible answers, which has cost us a lot of strength in the last few weeks...

I hereby say goodbye and embark on the journey to the kennel and will possibly post some news and videos via Instagram (sebastianspindler7), if that is possible. At the latest after my return there will be news. Many thanks again to all supporters and people who gave us back a piece of strength and hope with their words.
